Our Journey
Not forgetting our roots, we were initially a manufacturer of wooden pallets and stillage back in 1955. Our Founder, Mr. KetLeng Lim, always says “Integrity Secures Trusts”, he believes that integrity is of utmost importance when running a business, as it naturally draws in a skilled workforce, reliable suppliers, and gains customer’s confidence.
Sometime later in 1988, at a time when the Malaysian wooden picture frame mouldings were in their infancy. Many were the challenges that came our way, but in surmounting most of them, and more importantly, enhancing our learning curve greatly in the process, we are now undoubtedly, and proudly, the largest, most established, and renowned Malaysian manufacturer of wooden picture frame mouldings. Significantly, we are the first Malaysian manufacturer in this industry to be accorded the ISO 9001 status, and the only one listed on the stock exchange.
However, resting on our laurels is the last thing on our mind, as we diligently pursue a continuous improvement strategy, focusing on best-in-class practices, cost rationalization, shop floor controls, and total quality management. All these will be the fuel that powers us on the road to future overall excellence.
Our Milestones So Far
The first mouldings were produced in 1994, and in recent years, we have emerged to become one of the largest wooden picture frame manufacturers and exporters in Malaysia and one of the more established operations in the region. The current manufacturing facility comprises 2 plants, Rawang and Bidor, spreading over an area of more than 1,000,000 sq. ft.
The Group still has a long way to go, and we will focus on strengthening its overall management vis-a-vis a continuous improvement strategy in all aspects of the business and move on to greater heights on our road to success.
Finesse Moulding first established operation in a factory measuring 7,000 sq. meters, located in the Rawang Industrial Estate.
Finesse Moulding obtained FSC® Chain-of-Custody Certification.
Land acquisition – Acquired 1 plot of freehold land with total land area of approximately 39,000 sq. feet located in Rawang for the construction of warehouse and worker quarter.
